Everything. The initial welcome. a gorgeous house in beautiful grounds. Then the friendly helpful staff and the evening meal. The facilities in the clean room were excellent and a great breakfast.

The Glazert Country House Hotel is a privately owned, family run hotel, which celebrates its 22nd year of business in 2011. We strive to provide guests with a very personal and attentive service, whether you're staying for a holiday or are having a drink in your 'local', you are always ensured a warm welcome at The Glazert Country House Hotel.
The hotel has changed owners several times over the years, but now lies successfully in the hands of The McConnell Family. Although the hotel and original house have been extensively refurbished, many of the original features remain and can be seen today. Original staircase and fireplaces give the house character, as do the recurring arches throughout the building. The bar area would previously have been stables for horses where riding lessons took place in past years, but is now a relaxing, friendly spot in which to unwind with a drink.
Our 5 luxurious en suite rooms come complete with: 32 inch freeview LCD television, free Wi-Fi internet access, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, hospitality tray, direct dial telephone, complementary toiletries.
Our bathrooms also have the "wow" factor, with a spa bath/shower and LCD television to help you relax after a hard day's work. If showering is more your thing, ask for room 7, it has a hydro massage shower instead.
