"Cheap and cheerful :-D"
I only stayed one night at the Leeford Place Hotel. The thing that impressed me most were the staff, who were welcoming and really made the effort to give me a pleasant stay. The hotel itself looks better in the pictures than in reality as it is fairly run down. It is obviously mainly used for weddings and events, which means that as a lone traveller for business, it was like a ghost town and there was nothing to do and nowhere to go other than to my room. Likes:
A basic but nice room with a comfy bed. The setting of the hotel is great, with some lovely outdoor ares. The food I ate in the restaurant was very nice - I had the Salmon.
Dislikes:
The hotel was a bit tired and in need of refurbishment in many areas. There was left over wedding paraphernalia everywhere. There was no lift, so I struggled up and down narrow corridors with my bags
