The phone call on the day of arrival, the bags carried to the room. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries and there was fresh fruit, flowers and water. The hot tub was clean and ready to use.

We stayed for 2 nights and brought out cycles with us. The room was large enough to accommodate us and them and Eric was helpful from the minute we arrived. He ensured our luggage was safely transported to our room (including the bikes) and guided us to a suitable parking spot where we were able to leave the car for the duration of our stay. Both he and Mark were excellent hosts and looked after us during out stay. Read less

Dislikes:
We are used to sleeping in a silent area and found the noises of Brighton a bit off-putting. The earplugs provided by our hosts (to mask out the sound of seagulls) were very welcome!

The hot-tub didn't feel private, though the windows are frosted and no one can see you, you can hear everything. Upon arrival we were met by Arif, he was lovely and welcoming, he explained the room to us, lots of nice touches, ipod dock, fancy shampoo, gorgeous breakfast. If it was cheaper, I would recommend it
Dislikes:
The experience would be good for friends going to Brighton for a laugh, it's not for a serious couple, part of the reason I chose it was because it was recommended as a pleasant romantic Brighton stay

Hotel Nineteen offers AA rated 4 star guest accommodation to a discerning clientele, in an excellent location just 150m from the seafront and the pier, on the Kemp Town side of Brighton. The hotel is presented to a very high standard and has a very modern, minimalist decor, with an eclectic contemporary private art collection throughout. Brighton's famous Lanes area with its boutiques and restaurants is accessible within three minutes walk, as is the Royal Pavilion. The City's vibrant nightlife is a very short walk away, but Nineteen is set on a quiet side street.
Nineteen was among the first boutique venues in Brighton. Today it stands out above its competitors because of the high levels of customer service it provides, in a relaxed and very friendly style. We offer a full concierge service to guests, including restaurant recommendations and bookings, some night club guest listing, travel planning, in-room pampering and massages and valet parking. Luxury continental breakfast is served in your room (including Champagne or Bloody Mary at weekends) up to 11am - after many places will have expected you to check out. Or of course you can eat while you're getting ready for that business meeting, giving you extra time in bed. The requirements of the guest always comes first here!
