Stayed here for two nights on a weekend. The room was good value considering the quality of the hotel (I usually stay in 2-star b&bs due to my er... Budgeting constraints). My boyf and I stayed in the budget double room w/ shared bathroom, which I must say is very small - but no secret is made of that during booking. It was well decorated and the bed was super comfortable, and the room also has a sink which was useful. Overall a really lovely place. Read less

Everything! The hosts/owners were very welcoming. The entry hall also smelt absolutely divine which is always a great sign. Delicious breakfast and the bed was a far cry from most stiff b&b beds.
Dislikes:
Anything I didn't like was no reflection on the hotel whatsoever. Paskins adheres to unusually high standards of.. well, everything!

Firstly, the helpfulness of the hosts (I was arriving very late); secondly the great location, just off Marine Parade; finally the AMAZING breakfast with its homemade vegetarian sausage and fritter.
Dislikes:
Only that my room was really quite tiny - although to be fair I knew it would be small when booking. Plus it was very well equipped and decorated.

It’s the sort of place you leave thinking you will always want to return. A gold award winning green Brighton Hotel that has rather found its own way.
Not so much a boutique hotel, perhaps more discerning, a little quirky and forging its own fresh direction. It has distinctive and sometimes amusing rooms and brilliant organic, local or fair trade breakfasts. On arrival at the Art Nouveau reception you will be shown to one of the 19 rooms, each individual in design, perhaps a little quirky but not at the expense of being comfortable.
The Art Deco breakfast room continues the charming theme of this Brighton hotel and has a large menu of celebrated choice; including a variety of imaginative vegetarian and vegan dishes and some intriguing signature dishes.
Although we are only a small Brighton hotel, one of several hundred in the City we have still obtained recognition and have become the Times Newspaper hotel of the week enabling our reputation to spread all over England.
Paskins has been famous for being environmentally friendly. This is best sampled through the delicious breakfasts, prepared with mainly organic produce or sourced where ever possible from local farms.At Paskins we wash our towels with soap nut shells making a real contribution to the environment both by using natural ingredients and by producing much less chemical waste.All the soaps and goodies in the rooms are guaranteed not to be tested on animals and the soap itself is so environmentally friendly that it is recommended by the Vegetarian Society, Vegan Society and VIVA.
