"Weekend Break"
Check in was at the bar, no registration, bar manager was dressed in t-shirt and jeans. We were shown to our room, also shown the fire exit. The stair carpet was old and needs to be replaced. Also we passed a rail of clothes, ironing board, table with piles of old magazines. This needed to be addressed. Room was clean, couldn't find kettle, was told later on that it was hidden away, did eventually find it. Had to put kettle on the floor as the lead was very short. Shower room was small. Read less
Likes:
Very friendly, we ate in the restaurant on the first night of stay, friends joined us, service by the same bar manager was efficient, food was nice, hot and value for money.
Dislikes:
Broken light above sink, cracked tile in shower. Over priced for the state of the place. Needs to be decorated. More toast with breakfast and more tea.

"Don't stay here find somewhere else"
We were shown to room number 3, just after we had arrived the cleaner came into the room to make the room up for 2 people as she had only made it up for 1 despite us booking this room weeks in advance. We noticed that the kettle, cups etc were in a drawer, that none of the electrical items were PAT tested, the extractor in the bathroom was missing, it had the wrong type of light in the bathroom, only 2 towels, faeces on the bottom of the toilet seat, shower leaked broken tile. Breakfast not good Read less

The bed was too short, the window catch was broken and was on permanent open lock therefore it was noisy especially at night, there was spiders and cobwebs all over the room, the room tatty and dirty.
