Likes:
Enjoyed the food and the amazing dining room. Most of the staff were great, very friendly. Easy walk round from the station.
Dislikes:
One member of staff was a bit abrasive. The room was near a busy road but we were probably closest so not everyone may have had this issue.

Likes:
Position of the hotel, the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and everything about the town and this area of Sussex.
Dislikes:
The frustration was in the detail, a bed that squeaks. A car parked outside your window that is started at 6.30 a.m. every morning and sounds like a tractor. Bar emptying bottles as late as midnight

The centre of the medieval town is a couple of minutes walk with it's variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants together with such features as the Landgate Tower built in 1325 as a defence against the French. Virtually the whole of the citadel area is a conservation area and includes churches, the Town Hall and a myriad of buildings of historical interest.
