We wanted a short break to explore the town so all we needed was a comfortable hotel close to the town with easy parking. River Haven proved to be ideal and was in fact more than we anticipated for the price. The breakfast was very good as was the evening meal in the restaurant. The room and en suite were well presented and spotless and whole hotel gave the impression of being cared for. The staff were bright and cheerful and generally a nice bunch. Read less
Likes:
Good food. Great staff. Comfortable surroundings. Nice position beside the river. Very short walk to the town. Plenty of parking.
Dislikes:
The room (river view) was too warm during the night despite mild weather, no heating on and with both windows open. A small fan is provided with the room - I didn't find it until too late - my fault.
