"COMFORTABLE"
We had an upstairs room in the stable block which was very clean, comfortable and enough space to hang/put clothes. Shula cooked an excellent breakfast and lots of choice. We also enjoyed a very good evening meal at a reasonable price. Location very good for visiting Nationa Trust properties in the locality and free parking outside the Inn. Read less
Likes:
We found the Staff very helpful and the bathroom had lovely big soft towels and Clipper selection of teas/ coffee to choose for a drink in the morning.
Dislikes:
It would have been useful to have the hanging hooks repaired in the shower room and a small shelf to stand essentials on.

The location was lovely, we also managed to drop in during their beer festival so we had an extra range of beers on offer.
Dislikes:
The floorboards did creak form the room above but nothing to much to worry about.

With a roaring fire for cold winter nights and a picturesque secluded garden for long summer days, the Greyhound is a traditional English pub steeped in local history. Whether you're looking for a quick pint of local Sussex ale or a three course feast, accompanied by wine from our carefully chosen wine list, a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. And if you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast then come and join us on weekends from 9am to 11am.

At the Greyhound we use locally sourced produce to prepare our delicious food and you will find lots of choice, from classic British pub food, (try our home-made pies or Harveys battered cod), to a lighter bite. You are sure to be tempted by something on offer, maybe leaving room for our delicious homemade desserts.

As well as serving great food and drink, you can stay in our cosy Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the converted stables, or celebrate a special occasion in our private function room.

At the Greyhound there is always something going on, be it live music, quiz nights, the Bewl Barrel Race, or our monthly curry club. To find out more about what's happening check our news and events page.

Whether you come to eat, drink or stay, we look forward to welcoming
you to our pub
