Friendly stuff, excellent food (dinner and breakfast as well), Family room is seperated from the pub, so it was calm. Lovely, tasteful interior. We certainly come back.

"Great location, comfortable room, excellent breakfast"
Overnight stay attending a family funeral, found and booked the Greyhound on-line, only to then find that my 89 year old father had had his first alcoholic drink here back in the early 1940's. Greyhound is a comfortable, historic building with our room in a stable block. If you're a light sleeper you may be awoken by early morning traffic through the centre of Wadhurst but a very convenient place to stay. Read less

Comfortable room with all facilities a very good full English breakfast
Dislikes:
We had a slight problem with our online booking - when arriving we weren't allocated the room we expected but this was resolved quickly and didn't detract from an enjoyable stay.

With a roaring fire for cold winter nights and a picturesque secluded garden for long summer days, the Greyhound is a traditional English pub steeped in local history. Whether you're looking for a quick pint of local Sussex ale or a three course feast, accompanied by wine from our carefully chosen wine list, a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. And if you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast then come and join us on weekends from 9am to 11am.

At the Greyhound we use locally sourced produce to prepare our delicious food and you will find lots of choice, from classic British pub food, (try our home-made pies or Harveys battered cod), to a lighter bite. You are sure to be tempted by something on offer, maybe leaving room for our delicious homemade desserts.

As well as serving great food and drink, you can stay in our cosy Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the converted stables, or celebrate a special occasion in our private function room.

At the Greyhound there is always something going on, be it live music, quiz nights, the Bewl Barrel Race, or our monthly curry club. To find out more about what's happening check our news and events page.

Whether you come to eat, drink or stay, we look forward to welcoming
you to our pub
