Likes:
The settee ( which was somewhat tired) in the Executive room where we usually stay had been removed. The room appears larger with the replacement circular table and 2 comfy chairs. Excellent meals.

The hotel had friendly staff and the service and food were good in the restaurant which we used both nights of our stay.
Dislikes:
We were in room 9 and found we could clearly hear whatever happened in the room above, including tv until 2am the first night. Additional sound proofing would not go amiss.

"Friendly comfortable hotel"
One night stay on business. Room was comfortable, large bed. Only slight downside was that you had to walk outside to get to the restaurant, bar and reception and it was a little cold. WiFi was a bit temperamental to get data out, but as I didn't need to do too much it wasn't a great inconvience. Read less

Staff were very friendly.
There was plenty of space in my room to do yoga in the morning which is always a plus.
Dislikes:
The walk outside and the noise from people upstairs, it was quite loud when they were walking about. Better soundproofing would be great.
Response from Manor Court Hotel:
Many thanks for your review, We're glad you enjoyed your stay. I suspect the issues with the wi-fi are down to our slow connection, we have been waiting for fibre to come to the village for many years now, hopefully this is the year (fingers crossed). We will look into the door seal as it isn't an issue we have been made aware of before. We do offer vegetarian sausages as a replacement for the usuals but we admit that it could be clearer on the menu.

Some even have a courtyard seating area with views of the orchard and the evening sunsets, where you can have a glass of wine and consider which one of the hotel restaurants to have dinner in.

If traditional cuisine is your style then you will not be disappointed by all the choice on offer from the various menus throughout the complex. From traditional bar meals to our a la carte restaurant with its European twist, we offer fish, game, trendy salads and sublime comfort food - you will not be disappointed by the choice or price!!

Our History: Having once been a working farm in previous centuries, the business won awards for its conversion to a hotel in the early eighties and has continued to grow both in size and success due in no small part to the team of chefs led by Lorraine.
