"A relaxing break"
Booked as a halfway stop on a journey, we wish we had stayed longer. The Pub/Hotel is located on the Quayside at Burnham-On -Crouch in a prime riverside location. We had a 'Family' room with one double and a single bed. The accomodation was clean, cosy and characterful. The staff had a very relaxed and friendly attitude and the pub generally had a great 'vibe'.We dined out, although the food on display did look amazing!, the breakfast was a perfectly cooked 'full english' with some added banter!!! "Clean and tidy. Poor breakfast"
One night stay. Staff were friendly. Room was basic but clean. Bathroom needed updating. Breakfast was very poor, no ordering as such just received the standard breakfast which consisted of two cheap sausages, two piece of over cooked bacon, beans, two halves of tomatoe and beans. I heard the microwave going a lot and I was the only person eating a that time. I suspect most of it was reheated. Egg over cooked. Very disappointing Read less
