On the Essex and Cambridge border, The Queens Head Inn is a traditional 14th Century Coaching inn, Grade II listed, with roaring log fires in the winter months and a english counrty garden to relax during the summer months
Six en-suite guest rooms, all with flat screen TV, free wifi, tea & coffee facilities in each room, freshly pressed white sheets and fluffy, white towels.
Breakfast served for guest - Monday to Friday 7am to 10am
Saturday to Sunday 8am to 10am
Food served daily - Monday to Saturday - 12.00-2.30pm and 6.00-9.00pm and Sunday - 12.00-4.00pm. All prepared buy our Head Chef, Gareth.

The Queens Head is close to Stansted airport, 30 minutes from Cambridge, 50 minutes from London, it is also close to Audley End House which is now run by the English Heritage. The Inn is also close to Duxford Airport - which regular hold air shows. In walking distance is the market town of Saffron Walden, which still has a tradtional market on a Tuesday & Saturday.
Being in the English Countryside - the location is great for keen cyclists.
Families welcome, and the most important family dog.
