The room was a great size and has everything you could need. There was a power cut in the morning that could not be prevented and I have to say the staff were excellent during this time.

The foyer appeared to have not been vacuumed recently, neither had the 2 flights of stairs to our room. General feel of hotel was grubby. We entered the room (top of stairs on right), it smelt strongly of cigarette smoke & the room did not appeared to have been cleaned thoroughly recently. The mattress was heavily stained and full of debris of previous guests, as was bedhead & cushions. There was no mattress protector or anything between the sheet & mattress. There was no handsoap in bathroom. Read less

The staff at the front were very sweet and friendly.
Dislikes:
Housekeeping didn't seem to know we were in the room... a girl came in to supply lollipops to the tea tray. Forget the lollipops & sort out the basics first.

Designed by The (award-winning) Curious Group, no two rooms at Saint Judes are alike...

But apart from that they’re all decidedly different.
Downstairs you'll find a space dedicated to the ancient arts of drinking and dining. Our Executive Chef changes the menu seasonally to ensure the best flavours all year round. We also have a pretty extensive cocktail menu and a bar staff dedicated to getting your drink just right (not that we like to brag...).
We also throw a mean party, with weekend club nights as well as private parties & meetings in our dedicated events spaces.
