Large rooms, plenty of space downstairs, the lovely staff put the golf highlights on for us against the will of the bar at the end of the day! Cracking.
Dislikes:
A touch damp, but a refurbishment was beginning on the day we left. And it really didn't make any difference at all. We'd stay again for sure.

"Old fashioned but the staff were lovely :)"
I stayed at the Kirkhouse Inn with my sister as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The room we had was very spacious and there were lots of mirrors which suited us for getting ready! However the overall décor of the room was very very dated and could do with a major facelift. The staff were excellent and even gave us a lift to the venue as there was a large boundary charge in a taxi. Read less
Likes:
The mirrors, the staff and the bar area was a nice atmosphere. There were tables outside that looked nice to sit at.
Dislikes:
The décor in the rooms, it was very dated and could do with a facelift! The room was also quite expensive for us as we are both students!

Built in 1601 the Kirkhouse Inn is an iconic landmark in the peaceful parish of Strathblane.
