Likes: Nice accommodation and a very friendly welcome. Food very good, including a super breakfast.
Dislikes: On a main road, but we did know that before we booked, did not distract from a lovely weekend.

We stayed here for my husbands birthday as it was a good base from which to do some walking in the Cotswolds. There were lots of positives but unfortunately a few negatives, all of which are small but would make such a huge difference to the stay. Lovely traditional cosy pub but service was very slow despite it not being busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely spacious room. Powerful shower in bathroom. Walking distance to Bourton-On-The-Water. TV Reception needs to be stronger. Read less
Likes: Great location. Nice spacious room - would have benefited from a hairdryer though!
Dislikes: Breakfast on the 1st morning was very disappointing, lukewarm bland food but 2nd morning was totally different - piping hot and tasty. Restaurant floor could do with a sweep from night befores meals.

The pub is open 12 noon and serves food throughout the day. Included in the price of the rooms is a cooked breakfast, cereals, juice and tea's and coffee are offered for breakfast between 8:30am and 9:30am. Check-in is from 2pm and check out is 10am.
