I was welcomed by a friendly and helpful receptionist and appreciated touches such as fresh milk and fruit in the pleasant room and took advantage of the suggested local walks map.
However,when I went to dinner I was disappointed by being left waiting and ignored, while other larger parties were looked after well.
Breakfast including the service was excellent. Read less

It was a 2-night stay to attend my wedding nearby. We did not spend much time in the hotel beyond breakfast, so did not enjoy all that the hotel could offer. We probably will stay here again: my godson's elder brother is getting married later in the year, but I do feel that the Corse Lawn Hotel is not the best value for money, though I realise that we did not have time during our stay to enjoy all the facilities that it has to offer. There is a sort of charming eccentricity about the place. Read less

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Free wifi.
Dislikes:
The room was crowded with furniture. Water pressure for a shower was dismal. Drinks were pricey. Service was slow. Expensive for what we got, but we did not have time to experience more facilities.
