We were very pleased to find the Five Alls online. We had a very pleasant bedroom, maybe a little tired though - mattress as soft/bouncy as it is possible to be. The bar, snug and dining room were all quite cosy. The staff were friendly. It was all a bit too complacent and bygone for us though - very meaty and they had, for example, never heard of soya. They were even uncertain whether they had green tea, wow. Come on! I would mark the place, as it is now, 5 or 6 out of 10. Read less

We are vegetarian and although there was only very limited choice for us, the food provided was still excellent. Thank you.
Dislikes:
The reggae tape on a loop was often inappropriate, especially at breakfast; we also thought the prominence of a leg of pig, compete with a trotter, at dinner/even breakfast, was terribly distasteful.

The Five Alls is a charming 18th century traditional country inn set in the picturesque village of Filkins. It has four boutique style en-suite letting bedrooms above the pub, and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds. During the summer you can play a game of Aunt Sally in the garden, and the winter brings roaring log fires to warm you up after a brisk country walk. Food is British contemporary, wholesome, hearty and freshly prepared.

Staying at The Five Alls gives you a typical Cotswold village experience, with beautiful walks on your doorstep, along with fishing, shooting or horse riding by special arrangement.

The Five Alls is a perfect base to visit the Cotswolds – what could be more inviting than our beautiful scenery and great food. We have put together a collection of things to do and places to see while you are staying with us here at The Five Alls.

The Five Alls has two main dining areas plus the garden weather permitting. We are open 7 days a week with only the restaurant closed on Sunday evenings. Sebastian’s turf to table cooking represents all that is best in modern British cooking with a hint of his Italian upbringing, using high quality ingredients, sourced locally and simply presented in a generous way.

Whether it’s a weekend brunch or a three course dinner, or a club sandwich in the bar, or a set menu for a group of friends, we will do our best to meet your needs. Please be mindful that weekends get very busy so we strongly recommend bookings made in advance by telephone or through our website booking interface.
