The breakfast is very disappointing. Although English breakfast is ok it was lukewarm. The bread is unpleasant (cheap, sliced). No croissants or nice rolls.

"Lovely old Pub/Inn - good ambience and food"
We just wanted a break away, not too far from home and somewhere in the midst of places to visit. Minchinhampton and the Ragged Cot fitted the bill being in the Cotswolds. The restaurant food was good although what was described as French Onion soup was not quite what we expected. My wife had a pork dish which was slightly undercooked but we had quick response to put this right and it was very tasty. I had beetroot cured salmon then a pave of salmon - both very nice. Overall service was good. Read less

I imagine that in the summer weather the garden area would be great for a drink with friends. I liked the restaurant part and the breakfast (Very good)in the shed - very querky!
Dislikes:
Room 6 needs bathroom repainting around skirting. Bath was not clean. Carpet needs cleaning. The room is a little tired but comfortable nevertheless.

Stained grout, chipped floor, chipped paint, some shabby repairs. Was once lovely. Not what I would expect for the price.
