The atmosphere, attention to detail, cleanliness and service all enabled me to achieve the state of total relaxation and escapism I was after!
Dislikes:
Nothing I disliked but if I could stipulate any finer details for me personally, Sky TV would have encompassed more channels, cooked breakfast would have been included and tea/coffee would be in-room.

The Wheatsheaf Inn is a Coaching Inn from the 17th century with flag stone floors, open fires & a warm feel.
We have 14 luxurious boutique rooms all of which are ensuite with a bath or shower. All rooms are equipped with full sky access, telephone, free wifi and lovely toileteries and include a continental breakfast. If there is a special occasion we can organise flowers, chocolates or champagne to be placed into the rooms.
We have a dog friendly bar and restaurant where we serve Traditional English/French Bistro food and we accept dogs in our ground floor bedrooms. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner during the week and brunch and dinner during Saturdays and Sundays.
There is a sitting room with sofas for you to relax with a drink and maybe a book with a traditional english afternoon tea of freshly made scones and clotted cream.
The Wheatsheaf Inn is situated in the historic market town of Northleach. There is a market square and a church which dates beck to the 12th century. During the 16th & 17th centuries, Northleach was famous around Europe for its wool trade, and it is now a quiet Cotswold town with a great wine bar and 3 good pubs.
The surrounding area has some of the best walks and cycle routes in the Cotswolds, and is surrounded by some of the prettiest villages. There are lots of places to visit, such as Sudeley Castle, Warwick Castle, Berkeley Castle, Blenheim Palace, Hidcote Gardens and Rousham.
We are also in a good spot to organise Clay Pigeon Shooting, Fishing and other outdoor pursuits in the local area.
