We had a friendly welcome upon arrival,our room was called "The Wild Cherry",en-suite.It was excellent it was spaceous, a lovely comfordable bed,TV, tea and coffee facilities,a good modern bathroom with shower.All our meals breakfast, dinner and snacks were of good quality and were value for money.All the staff were great and helpful.After reading an average review about the hotel we nearly didn't book but we are glad we did and enjoyed our stay, We would highly recommend this hotel. We booked in to stay whilst attending a local wedding. We booked one of their top priced 'Luxury premium room'. We were one of only 3-4 rooms occupied and we found it impossible to sleep. The Luxury room was immediately above the bar, and the hotel has no double glazing and is alongside a very busy road. At 12.30 we had to ring reception to get them to tell the people in the bar to be quiet so we could sleep. That did not happen. The traffic noise gave little chance of sleep. Read less

The first objective of a hotel is to give you a comfortable nights sleep. We did not have a good nights sleep in any shape or form. No apology offered, no discounts.
