At the time of our visit Criccieth was unexpectedly quiet and unspoilt (which we liked) and our room had an excellent view of the castle and beach.
Dislikes:
Not a dislike but,one small thing is that I would have liked there to have been a broader choice of things to choose from for breakfast e.g the option of kippers .
Response from Glyn-y-Coed Hotel:
Thank you for your valued comments Stuart. You will have to return to Criccieth as there is so much to do around here. Just to explain that we don't do kippers anymore simply because of the smell! With the open staircase near to the dining room and kitchen, the smell goes straight upstairs and you can smell them up there in the afternoon when guests arrive - which is OK if you like kippers!
We do try to add other things - this week black pudding and different breads.
