Likes:
The rooms were great and the overall setting of the house was brilliant
Dislikes:
There was only one drawback which maybe we should have taken into consideration was the noise level from the main road. Maybe secondary glazing would be a benefit.

We have 10 ensuite rooms, decorated to a high standard and offering a variety of beds - twin / double / four-poster / king size. Some of the rooms overlook the sea, castle and mountains. All rooms have a TV, tea making facilites and a fully tiled bath or shower room.

Enjoy a hearty, healthy breakfast (with sausage, bacon & black pudding from a local butcher).

Private parking is available - so leave your car, relax on our patio with a pot of tea or glass of wine or, walk along the Wales Coastal Path, visit the Criccieth Castle, Cadwalladers Ice Cream shop, our beach, cafes, local welsh pubs and several excellent restaurants. Bus & train stops are walking distance too.

Criccieth is very central for seeing places such as Portmeirion, Harlech, Snowdonia, several castles, the Ffestiniog Railway, five golf courses and many hidden, most beautiful and romantic beaches around the Llyn Peninsula. We have lot of knowledge, books and photos to gladly share with you. Bring your walking shoes and camera - you will not be disappointed.

Having been awarded 5 stars, we believe Glyn y Coed to be one of the finest places to stay in Criccieth.
