It was clear that so much thought had gone into the presentation of the room....it was very comfortable and pleasing to the eye.
Dislikes:
It was difficult, because of the position of sockets and mirrors, to find a place to dry my hair.....and I couldn't get the TV to work...(my fault, I expect!)

Since opening at the beginning of July 2015, the pub has gone from strength to strength. Where once H. G. Wells sat and wrote, Petersfield citizens are now enjoying local real ales and great local seasonal food prepared by our award winning chefs - recently been awarded an AA rosette for our stunning food, with the promise of more to come.

Our rooms have achieved 4 AA stars with a gold award for quality. A selection of teas and coffees and a snack hamper are there to welcome you. Luxurious mattresses, fluffy duvets and Egyptian cotton sheets guarantee an excellent night's sleep. Apple TV in each room, and a smart TV for streaming work/play.

our outstanding wine list caters for all, with locally sourced ales & spirits.

Downstairs there are three open fires, a fully refurbished (july 2015) dining room & bar area, a stunning garden for when the sun shines and happy, smiling staff will make sure you are properly welcomed.
