This historic building has enjoyed a variety of uses over the years being home to a women's workhouse in the early 17th century. Bertie's specialises in traditional British fayre but our chefs have blended culinary nostalgia with modern flair and created their own unique style. Berties also offers Three Star accommodation right in the heart of Romsey.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was tiny, car park full of pot holes & very dark & dangerous. Staircase to our bedroom was very narrow & steep. Lighting in the corridors to our bedroom was on timer switches. They were difficult to find and were inadequate. Bedroom door wouldn't lock properly. Only a tiny wardrobe in bedroom which was difficult to access so had to leave clothes in bags in middle of floor. Bathroom had no where for hanging wet towels so had to leave on floor! Read less
