"Friendly pub with excellent rooms."
We'd driven down from London on a Friday evening to see a friend's blues band play at the pub. I'd booked B&B for the night rather than drive back to London.

Friendly owners and staff, a spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable room.
Generous cooked breakfast.
Dislikes:
The pub is located on a busy road which made it easy to find but meant there was some traffic noise though not so noisy it would prevent me from staying there again.

everybody was welcoming and they made it feel like anything you needed wasnt a chore. hotel was perfect for me and my girlfriend ge away.
Dislikes:
the shower in room 4 was a bit like being pricked by needles the head was the wrong choice for the power shower but other than that great stay

Staff were superb, very polite and friendly. Service for evening meal was really good, the two waitresses were young and made a lot of effort to ensure we enjoyed the meal.
Breakfast was lovely.
Dislikes:
Nothing, although the previous reviews about road noise are accurate, however it did not spoil our stay at all.

friendly staff. Small but well appointed room, nicely decorated,very clean. Good complimentary toiltries and hospitality tray.We had very nice dinner (extra charge) and lovely breakfast (included)
Dislikes:
shame that you had to go outside to get to the rooms and that there was no ground floor accommodation for disabled.Some road noise even at the back.

The main road the hotel is on is very busy and makes the rooms at the front a little noisy.
