The staff were very friendly and helpful, the mixed grill was excellent (could of done with a fried egg though) menu choice was adequate. Nice tidy bar area, easy to relax of an evening.
Dislikes:
Not very happy with the breakfast. Although the portion size was fab the overall quality of the meat was not good. glasses were dirty, no tea or coffee offered. room was dusty.

We'd looked forward to staying in the 'wedding suite' as a belated treat for our wedding anniversary coupled with attending a 50th party which was to be held at the hotel. The room was cold and dirty, no explanation was given for the use of the jacuzzi bath which had been billed as a feature of the room and no special bath products were provided. The iron and phone did not work and no clock radio or hair dryer provided. Had it been my wedding night I would have been a very unhappy bride. Read less

The location of the hotel was good for us and of course staying in the hotel where our function was to be held was a plus.The staff were freindly and did provide an iron that worked on request.
Dislikes:
Lack of attention to the detail and not providing what they said they would on line. Not good value for money.

The jacuzzi doesnt come with instructions as there are no special instructions required.
All the rooms are provided with complimentary toiletries.
The iron works fine, there is a switch that you possibly missed.
The phone is working, but on inspection of the room was found to be unplugged.
There is a hairdryer provided in the drawer.
The clenliness is to a high standard

We have 21 en suite bedrooms with bath & shower (we have 24 bedrooms in total), and our Fountain room with Four Poster bed & Whirlpool bath. Our restaurant & bars are open to non-residents, and we have conference rooms and a skittle alley for your enjoyment.
There is hotel parking for coaches and up to 100 cars. The garden with fountain has a large lawned area & children's play area. We are within easy access of the M27, serving Southampton International Airport, Winchester and Portsmouth. London is approximately 75 miles away.
Watch all sporting events on our Sky Sports & Setanta sports channels in the bars.
There is a lounge bar & cocktail bar, various food and drink menus for our restaurant/breakfast/dining rooms & wedding reception areas, catering for weddings, parties, conferences, seminars, licenced marriage & partnership ceremonies, skittle alley, laser karaoke & disco.
Every lunch time and evening our popular restaurant offers a very large variety of meals and snacks, plus an excellent carvery with a choice of 4 roasts and daily specials. Children's menu and half portions are available. We serve a full English buffet style breakfast and also offer morning coffee and afternoon tea.
