"Relaxing Birthday Break"
My husband and I stayed at The Talbot for 3 nights from the 27th April 2017 for his birthday. It was our first break of the year and we were ready for a rest. Staying in The Talbot was extremely relaxing, the rooms (we were in the old part of the building) were lovely and characterful, the choice of food was very good and prepared beautifully and the bar was comfy to sit in. Everyone made us feel very welcome, including the locals. Read less

No tissues in room. The shower curtain was discoloured at the bottom and not big enough. Not much hot water pressure from the basin.
