Check in and check out were made very easy.
All staff were very helpful.
Unfortunately, we had eaten earlier that day (during our journey)and, after viewing the menu, were very disappointed not to have eaten our main meal at the Talbot Inn.

On arrival,the manager immediately appeared to greet us and help with our luggage.
All room facilities were comprehensibly explained.
All staff were friendly
An excellent location to explore Ledbu
Dislikes:
Lack of secure car parking.
There was a facility for 2 cars (within a gated arch) but, due to us arriving late afternoon, this was understandably full.
I parked under the front security camera.

Very hot night and nearly all bedroom windows would not open and the fan provided did not make much difference so room was much too hot.

Breakfast finished at 9am. Evening meal choice slightly disappointing in variety, so did eat elsewhere.

The Talbot has been welcoming guests for over 400 hundered years, with its black and white timbered front, the oldest part dating back to around 1550.

The Talbot's oak panelled dining room serves the best of food and fine wine, combined with good old fashioned service is an experience worth having.Presented with the Visit Britain Breakfast Award for the most important meal of the day in recognition of the quality and choice, service and hospitality where the manager, chef and staff have gone the extra mile to ensure that your breakfast will exceed expectations. The well stocked bar with its log fire and award winning cask ales (Good Beer Guide 10th Year) and over 15 wines by the glass is just the place to meet for lunch or just a coffee.

We have six and a half character bedrooms offering a high standard of comfort.
