"Cold and wet"
Stayed overnight on a business trip. Never again. We were told there was a live music gig, and that guests had to be moved around to accommodate them. We were moved into the very cold and damp annex. There was no central hating, an issue that was known to management beforehand. The property was not clean and damp. There were pools of water in the kitchen and toilet. In the morning there was no hot water. All this on a night that reached minus three. There was no apology, no offer of recompense. Read less

The dirty, wet and very cold damp accommodation.
Response from Templars Hotel & Restaurant:
As this is a two storey self contained unit it is run by a combi boiler. As the lights were on etc we were not aware that the pressure had dropped on the combi boiler .As soon as I was made aware I went over and topped up the boiler for instant hot water. Presumed it had dropped due to the thermostat on toilet radiator breaking which we were told about at breakfast and the plumber came same day to repair.
