Our spacious room was at the back and was very quiet, overlooking the trees and river. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.

"Would stay again"
Unfortunately we arrived much later than planned but check in was smooth and our room was clean and spacious. The young man on the bar was very pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed a relaxing drink prior to bed. The bathroom was a little tight for space in places, and the toilet made some rum old noises but it was actually pretty funny. We had a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice and staff were friendly. Read less

All of it.

The noisy loo might have been a problem if we'd been staying longer.

"Comfortable, good value stay"
Rooms are not fancy but perfectly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was huge, with good quality tasty ingredients. The only downside is checking in at the crowded bar with all the locals seated at the bar stools. I'd definitely return here as it's very convenient for the North Coast 500 or dashing up to Scrabster for their Orkney ferry. The food in the restaurant is also very good but it gets very busy so worth booking a table. Read less
