"One night as part of the North Coast 500"
This was our favorite overnight stop on our North Coast 500 tour. Richard was a fantastic and engaging host. We booked the family room and were very pleased with the space. Our room was very large, well decorated, and comfortable. We left Inchbae trying to figure out when we could return and how long we could stay for the next trip. Richard's stories were so great we want to come back and meet all the "Sandys." Read less

"A very friendly and welcoming place to stay"
We arrived much later than planned after an unexpectedly long and arduous day and were given an extremely warm welcome by Richard and Sue. They even managed to rustle up some dinner for us even though it was long past closing time for their kitchen. Our room was warm and comfortable with a good hot shower. The hotel is in a lovely setting and is very relaxed and great value for money. Read less

The Inchbae Lodge Inn is the perfect venue from which to explore this beautiful country, just a short distance off the main route of the North Coast 500, 30 minutes from Ullapool on the A835 in the heart of the Scottish Highlands with peace and quiet you only get in a rural location.

The Inchbae Lodge Inn is just a mile west of Ben Wyvis for your list of Munros with the Fannichs 5 miles away for more adventureous explorers, climbers and winter walkers.
We are also the ideal stop off to break your trip to the Islands such as the Isle of Lewis.

With 7 lovely rooms including our 4 poster room, and a family room with Children welcome.

We can help you organise a complete itinerary of things to see and do, be it Fishing at a Troutmaster Trout Loch or a visit to our local Glen Ord Distillery.
Wild Trout and Salmon fishing can be arranged with our own fishing guide as well as exclusive Stag & Hind stalking on two of the finest Estates in the Highlands.
.
For bird & wildlife lovers we regularly see Red Kites, Osprey and Buzzard in our large beer garden and on the banks of the Blackwater River, Goosander, Oyster Catchers and Heron are regular visitors.

A twenty minute drive west is Corrieshalloch Gorge which is 200 feet deep; the river drops 150 feet over the Falls of Measach.
A suspension bridge crosses downstream and a little further is a viewing platform providing an excellent view of the falls.
Other local attractions include nature reserves, Rogie falls where salmon can be seen leaping up the falls in season and the Red Kite center and other activities if you require.

Our restaurant is open for lunches and bar snacks as well as delicious evening meals so enjoy a meal in our summer dining conservatory with lovely mountain views of Ben Wyvis then walk down to the banks of the Blackwater River, or relax in the lounge with its own woodburner in the evening and enjoy a dram or fine local Ale.

Richard and Susan welcome you to our Highland Hideaway
