We enjoyed our two night stay at the Inn, our deal wasnt great as it excluded a cooked breakfast which we had to pay for seperately
the room was good and the hotel took our two small dogs - which they charged for but provided no facilities i.e bowls or dog beds
the countryside is amazing and we did some great walks
Dinner was served in the bar and everything came with chips could have benefited from more varied menu. Read less

Come and enjoy Craigdarroch's traditional ambience:- old fashioned wood panelling, high cornice ceilings and period furnishings. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with most overlooking Loch Ness and some having ornate, 4 poster beds. Unquestionably the finest views of Loch Ness from any property around the loch can be seen from the windows of Craigdarroch.

All the bedrooms are fully en suite and equipped with hospitality trays, LCD digital TVs and hair dryers.

Craigdarroch has a full hotel liquor license; choose from weekly changing local real ales from The Loch Ness Brewery. Meals are served every day from 12 noon to 2pm and from 6pm to 8.30pm. Reservations aren't required.

The surrounding area is full of natural beauty, with fascinating walks along the loch and through the forests at the Foyers Falls waterfall, Dores, Inverfarigaig and Fort Augustus. Some of the world's best boating, fishing and shooting are found nearby, as well as a huge range of scenic, top quality golf courses. There is also biking, horse riding, canoeing and kayaking, plenty of castles and battlefields for an historic day out or the chance to nose the fine whiskies of the Highlands' distilleries.

Craigdarroch is registered for civil wedding ceremonies. Exclusive use for overnight accommodation is available and couples can choose to have their ceremony in the garden or in the main house, both with picturesque Loch Ness as a backdrop to their special day. Should a church ceremony be preferred, there is a small, pretty, Highland church on the hill 100 yards above the inn.
