Likes:
The convenience of Kingussie in our railway tour. The excellent staff attention despite pouring wine on the stair carpet!
Dislikes:
Unfortunately the hotel has no lift and we had problems climbing the stairs to the first floor. We did know that the hotel had stairs from a previous visit but we are getting older each day!

Two twenty-something males stayed 2 nights here just as a place to set our luggage down and rest our heads in the evenings. We weren't expecting much. Kingussie is super quiet/quaint and we enjoyed our stay there. The best part of the hotel, by far, was Sid (Syd), who I believe is the owner. He went out of his way to help us with travel arrangements to Fort William and even found us a discounted round of golf in the area. Great guy, easily the highlight of the hotel. Read less

Beds weren't anything to write home about, but again, we were just staying there as a place to rest in the evenings.
