Warm and welcoming small Hotel, well off the beaten track but not too hard to find. The food was suberbly presented and very tasty. Service was both friendly and efficient.

"Hidden Gem in The Highlands"
We found The Cross in Scotland the Best and decided to celebrate our anniversary there. The location is beautiful, just out of the village centre and surrounded by woodland with a stream running alongside. Our room was lovely and spacious with a generous ensuite. Dinner was amazing, delicious food and an extensive wine list to choose from. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast next day was also to a high standard, best fresh fruit selection offered in a long time. Would love to Read less

"Most relaxing hotel on our trip"
We stayed for two night in mid-September. Although the weather was not cooperative, the hotel was a delightful pause amidst our overly full schedule. We were charmed by the facility and opted to take it easy, play scrabble in the sitting room, enjoy the wonderful dinners, and generally relax. Read less

"Great Food, Beautiful Place and Lovely Staff"
This was our second visit to the Cross and it was as enjoyable as the first. The food is exciting and flavoursome, the staff are kind and very hard-working and the position of the Mill interesting and picturesque. This is a hidden gem that whilst we want it to always be there we don't want it to get so popular that there isn't any room for us. Read less

"Quality accommodation and distinguished food in the Highlands"
We returned to The Cross having enjoyed previous stays in 2007 and 2009. This year under the current owners we were pleased to again experience a high quality stay in comfortable accommodation, the highlight being superb evening meals. Whilst the price is at the higher end, this is justified by the consistent excellence, quality of ingredients and sourcing, service and attention to detail. Wines too are enjoyable, with an interesting range at reasonable prices for this dining bracket. Read less
