Likes:
Welcoming staff who even after we arrived late, still provided our evening meal. Also the bed was very comfortable.
Dislikes:
The decor was very dated and the whole place could do with a lick of paint.

"Convenient journey break,handy for station."
Bedroom was adequately equipped and cleaned. Bathroom had a lot of unpleasant condensation mould around windows and curtains. There was no comfortable residents' lounge. Bar used as village pub was noisy until late. Breakfast was adequate but no variety. Read less
Likes:
It was cheap and therefore adequate.
Dislikes:
Arriving in rain to park in a muddy, potholed car park was depressing and the generally run down appearance of the building added to the feeling. I was not moved to dine there. A big upgrade needed.

The Roy Bridge Hotel and Grey Corrie Lodge bunkhouse are situated deep in the northwest Highlands of Scotland, on the A86; close to the Nevis Range and 12 miles from Fort William - Outdoor Capital of the UK.

The Lochaber area is a fantasic destination for those who enjoy the many outdoor pursuits available locally, including canoeing/kayaking, hill- walking, mountaineering, mountain biking and fishing.

The Nevis Range enjoys great ski-ing conditions during the winter season and is only 5 miles from Roy Bridge. Also a must for mountain bike enthusiasts and walkers/climbers throughout the year. Scotlands only mountain gondola will transport you 650m up the side of Aonach Mor where you can follow mountain trails to panoramic viewpoints. Easily accessible by car, local buses also run from Roy Bridge to Fort William via the Nevis Range.

If those activities sound a bit stressful, you can just enjoy the magnificent scenery, take a gentle stroll in the majestic Glen Roy and observe the parallel roads; a geographical, oceanic feature .

The Roy Bridge Hotel is a traditional Highland inn and offers comfortable and well appointed en-suite bedrooms with a tasty highland breakfast.
Please note that some of our guest bedrooms are located directly above the bar area which is licenced until 1am.
Noise from the bar can be heard in the bedrooms - nights with live entertainment and quiz nights can be lively - we encourage guests to join in the fun.

Meals are served daily from 6pm - 9pm and the menu offers fresh home-cooked food at reasonable prices. Guests can relax in the friendly bar to plan the next days' activities.
Enjoy our lovely enclosed beer garden in fine weather.

The Grey Corrie Lodge provides great value bunkhouse accommodation. We welcome groups up to 28 as well as smaller groups and single travellers. Facilities include a wood burning stove, common room, fitted kitchen, communal showers/toilets, drying room, washing machine, ample car parking.
