Auckland Hotel

All rooms at The Auckland Hotel have tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, radios and are fully en suite. There are direct-dial telephones in all rooms. A well stocked bar is attractively set out to give a warm and personal atmosphere. We are able to offer an excellent wine cellar.

In the restaurant we offer a choice of Full English or Continental breakfasts. In the evenings we serve generous portions chosen from our five course menu. Both the dining room and bar lounge open onto a terrace which catches the sun in the mornings and throughout the day.

The hotel is close to the picturesque Shanklin Old Village with its gift shops, pubs and tea-rooms and, in the opposite direction, the cliff lift which takes you down to the beach. The Auckland Hotel is situated in Shanklin on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight, nestling at the southern end of Sandown Bay. Shanklin is renowned for its wonderful sandy beach offering safe bathing for all the family. Shanklin enjoys an envied record of sunshine and is truly a lovely place to spend a holiday.
