"Suitable accommodation for our purpose."
The Pub had a good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, as we were attending a funeral later on the day we arrived it was nice to be made welcome. We had lunch and the food was well cooked and presented. We also had a snack in the evening with a couple of drinks and all in all it was very good. What spoiled it was the breakfast the next morning. Read less

It was what we expected from a local pub nothing fancy but comfortable, clean and welcoming. I would recommend the accommodation and main meals but not the breakfast.
Dislikes:
We had a journey back to Derbyshire we thought a good breakfast would set us up for the journey back. I am sorry to say it was not a good breakfast. the plates were cold and the bacon needed cooking.
