The room was lovely, and had a balcony which was a nice addition. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had!

"A trip down memory lane"
We booked on the day and were very fortunate there was a free room. We stay once or twice for a night yearly. We live in Kent and so much enjoy a change of scene. We know we will be comfortable, enjoy the service and have a fantastic breakfast. This t8me we didn’t have supper but often we do. In the morning the tides were right so we were able to walk round on the shore the entire way to Broadstairs. This is a glorious, unspoilt hotel with character. Don’t expect soulless rooms and corporate. Read less

The Walpole Bay Hotel was ideally located, within walking distance of downtown Margate and it’s many attractions, yet quiet enough to ensure we had a peaceful time.

The Walpole Bay Hotel is also a museum, packed with antiques and curios, it has a napery – a collection of napkins drawn-on by artists. And its staff are unfailingly-delightful.
Dislikes:
Only that I couldn't stay longer. I'll be back!
