Likes:
Great rooms with spacious badroom, good beds, good location in a beautiful small village. Dinner was good pub food.
Dislikes:
Breakfast service on Sunday is slow; we had too wait over half an hour for our cooked breakfast after ordering. Other parties in the breakfastroom room had appointments and got pretty stressed.

"Top class, good value pub with rooms"
Bed and Breakfast for two nights. We also ate our evening meals there. The Rose and Crown is a pub with rooms and is relatively low costs so it must be judged by this. It was very good value for money with a large room and good ensuite facilities. The hospitality tray was excellent. The restaurant had a good variety of food from light bites, starters and main courses all very well cooked and presented. Breakfast had a good choice of cooked meals which was better than you would expect. Read less
Likes:
The Rose and Crown was as good as for the price. Service was very friendly and they even turned the heating on when it got a bit chilly in the evening. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
Dislikes:
Nothing at all.

The stables conversion room was large, comfortable and clean. The service in the bar was excellent, we only had barfood but it was good value for money.
Dislikes:
The only downside was the breakfast service was slow and my wife got the wrong order resulting in a furter wait.
