I stayed there 2 nights for a wedding locally with family and i could not fault the service. The rooms were clean and fresh and there was plenty of clean towels with tea,coffee etc.The breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.The beds were comfy too so we slept very well and the room was a family room so there was plenty of space.Also as a women i particularly enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of mirrors,plugs sockets and storage.Excellent. Visiting friends we needed a place to stay in Sheerness and Royal was recommended to us. We stayed on a Saturday night and the pub was a bit rough but this was not reflected by the hotel. There was a band on but this did not bother us as we were on the top floor. Breakfast was great although the restaurant was a bit dark. Read less

Thank you for your comments. the brewery have promised a refurb of the pub and bar some time after June to improve the look and feel of the hotel (especially the carpet!!) Thank you for your comment on the restaurant. i will look into a different type or style of lighting to improve light levels. Bring back the 100w light bulb!

The Hotel offers a wide range of en-suite rooms, ranging from single occupancy to twin rooms and large doubles. All the rooms offer television, some with large screen and/or digital. En-suite bathroom facilities and tea and coffee making facilities are standard.The hotel is fully covered by WIFI and is totally free. Access points are in each room for that faster connection.
The Royal Hotel prides itself on the service and value that it offers to all of its guests. You can rest assured that your stay will be one to remember.
Please note we are based over 3 floors and we do not have a lift or any ground floor rooms. Being a smaller hotel we do not have a manned reception desk. Guests are asked to make themselves known to the bar upon arrival, where our staff will then guide you through reception and the check-in process and finally to your room Taking note of any special requirements. Should you need, or request, assistance with suitcases etc We will be happy to assist.
Car parking is off site. We will guide you to parking places on arrival.
The Royal Hotel Prides itself on its fully stocked bar offering a range of Local Shepherd Neame Beers Ales, Lagers and Spirits. All the classics are on offer Including Spitfire Ale and Hurlimann lager.
Our elegant & Traditional oak paneled restaurant here at The Royal Hotel, seats up to 24 diners and offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere in which to savour some of the best regional food the area has to offer.
Our British-style menu is a celebration of local Kent produce, from the freshest game, meats and fish, to seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruits delivered daily by surrounding local suppliers.
Please note pets are not usually accepted. There is no lift at The Royal Hotel and all rooms are non-smoking. You may be able to hear noise from the street or pub in your room. This may include loud music.
