Friendy welcome by staff and owner in this privately owned and run B&B. Flexible breackfast times to suit needs. In these days the popularity of the pub demonstrated by it's use by locals says a lot.

Could have had a mirror that was near enough to where the hairdryer plugged in .

The Fountain Inn is a recently renovated pub, restaurant and Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the Pennine Way, nesting on the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire in the town of Barnoldswick.
The Fountain Inn began life as a coaching house in 1816 and some original features remain to this day, including the fireplace and traditional paved flooring.
The public house is open 7 days a week serving cask ales and a large wine menu. Bar snacks can be enjoyed throughout the property including next to the traditional wood burner or on the comfy couches.
The restaurant is also open throughout the week and serves an eclectic menu using locally sourced produce, prepared fresh daily. The restaurant provides a relaxed setting for diners and is perfect for intimate meals for two or large gatherings of friends and family.
There are five Bed and Breakfast rooms all providing modern facilities including ensuite bathrooms and toiletries, flat screen TVs, a kettle with tea and coffee, towels and a hairdryer. The rooms have also been thoughtfully kitted out with books to read and information on local activities and sights to see.
