Met with a warm greeting and shown to a lovely clean room. Details about a village event describe in case we would like to attend. Manager ensured our glasses were refilled even taking one to my husband while he was watching the football! A table had been reserved for our meal and the waitress was very attentive and had a friendly chat with us too. The lady of the house ensured we had enjoyed our meal and was also friendly the following morning. Read less

We live in Scotland and met up with long established friends from Wales. The hotel was an ideal location mid way from our homes and from which we travelled to the surrounding areas. We were made very welcome by both hosts and staff. The food was a good standard, not overpriced, ample portions and accompanied by a good selection of refreshments. We would recommend a stay here and will return again. Read less
