The Ribble Valley with its rolling landscape, is a rural haven full of mystery, history and legend. Not only is it famous for being the Centre of the British Isles and the inspiration for Tolkien's Middle Earth, it is also renowned for the wealth of attractions covering history, heritage, arts and crafts and countryside escapes.
The valley is dominiated by Pendle Hill where George Fox is believed to have had his vision in 1640 prior to founding the Quaker movement.
