Evening meal and accompanying wine were very good. Was impressed by the selection of gins and whiskies; real ales also appreciated.
Excellent en suite wet room.
Dislikes:
Room a bit cramped; matress not appropriate for a solid frame, slatted bed so spent an uncomfortable night. Would recommend to others selectively given this point i.e. those without bad backs.

Very friendly staff. Lovely clean, large comfortable bed. Although it was very wet and windy outside you couldnt hear a sound. Its was very quiet and nice and warm.
Dislikes:
We suggest that a black out blind is fitted to the window in the Pendle View Room as the outside lights over the front door stay on all night and shine in the room making it very light.

The hospitality & ambience made it a delightful place to stay. Meeting others in the snug part of the Pub was an added bonus. The food was exceptional on both evenings. Excellent breakfasts.

"Fantastic food, great location .... go and enjoy!"
An off the cuff decision to extend an overnight stay elsewhere in the Ribble Valley by staying at the Red Pump Inn. First time for a yurt stay and although glamping isn't my thing I was pleasantly surprised. Yurt was comfortable and cosy with a fabulous log fire which kept us warm in October weather. All the essentials were to hand and there was a very warm welcome from the staff. We were looked after well and would stay again but this time in one of the Inn rooms. Read less

The food was excellent and best of all was the very warm welcome from the young lady on duty who saw us through our stay... she is worth her weight in gold!

"Little gem in the Forest of Bowland"
Travelling from Aberdeen to Sussex and, rather than the Motels, usually find a local Hotel or Inn just off the M6 Motorway. The Red Pump Inn, in Bashall Eaves just outside Clitheroe, was well worth the drive to get to. Weather was wet and windy but the welcome was warm and friendly with the fine smokey smell of an open fire in the bar area. All of the staff were genuinely friendly and the cask Ales on tap went down nicely too. If you like fine steak for dinner this is highly recommended. Read less

Nice place to stay, views over surrounding countryside, worth short detour off M6. Cosy bar, local cask ales, log fire burning, excellent steak dinner, clean comfy room, what more could you ask for.
Dislikes:
Directions on web site for M 6 South are wrong, M 6 North only is 31 A, M 6 South is 31, Minor paint touch up in places just to brighten up. Wi Fi temperamental, did not work, especially in bedroom
