"Different"
The room had a strong smell of disenfectant. The king size bed was not there but an ordinary sized bed. So it was not possible to reach the bed side cabinet from one side of the bed. I suspect that someone had been unwell the night before. Hence the change of bed and strong disinfectant smell. Also at breakfast I ordered 'full English'. It arrived but with no egg. One was cooked and brought to me. So I did not miss out on my 'chucky' egg. Read less

Breakfast, staff were friendly
Dislikes:
The strong disinfection smell, the lack of a king sized bed, not being able to reach the bed side cabinet, the two non-functioning ceiling lights, the loose bath panel, lack of an egg at breakfast

If you fancy a stroll before breakfast or during the course of the day - why not amble along the canalside - there's plenty of action with all the wildlife and the canal boats going up and down. We have attractive offers in place for weekend stays, overnight stays for business people, romantic packages - please see our website for further details.

Our menu concentrates on dishes that are made using produce from our very local suppliers who are all named on our Menu - we specialise in Rotisserie chicken, (which we get from Goosnargh).
