We were visiting friends in the area and needed a place to stay over night, where we could also take our dog. On arrival the lady on reception was very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished, our room hadn't been refurbed but was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had continental breakfast in the morning, which was also very good. We would definitely use the hotel again if we revisited the area. Read less

The only negative was that we didn't have a main light in the bedroom or a light in the bathroom due to a problem with the electrics. Reception thought they had sorted the issue but it reoccurred.

Situated in the historic 12th century market town of Grantham, this hotel was originally a gentleman's residence and Hunting Lodge. Eden House Hotel (formerly the Kings Hotel) is being elegantly refurbished to provide modern facilities whilst keeping its original character. The hotel has 21 spacious en-suite bedrooms and free parking for 39 cars.

There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor to suit all our guests' needs. Grantham is close to many local attractions such as Belton House and Woolsthorpe Manor, birthplace of Isaac Newton. In addition, the splendid Belvoir Castle, surrounded by the beautiful Vale of Belvoir and home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland is fifteen minutes drive from the hotel.
