"Perfect for an overnight stay"
My wife and I had returned to Stamford for a school reunion of those who had left school 50 years ago. We were greeted and shown to our room at the Exeter Arms by a young man who has just left the same school! Our room was very comfortable-one of the best we have had in similar accommodation. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were both efficient and friendly. Read less

Conveniently located to access the local attractions. Staff were friendly, food was good and fresh and the restaurant was excellent.
Dislikes:
There was no food served on Sunday evening and the staff did not know where we could go. We found the Collyweston Slater nearby and it was good.

The Exeter Arms is located on the edge of Easton on the Hill, just two miles from the historical town of Stamford. The Exeter Arms is perfectly situated for local business, visitors to Easton on the Hill and for Stamford’s shopping and local tourist attractions. The Exeter Arms has six beautifully appointed bedrooms, all of which are individually designed and well positioned for both leisure and corporate guests. All rooms offer complimentary WiFi connection, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television and hairdryer. All rooms have a working space for our business guests. Ample car parking is available to the side of the public house.

The Exeter Arms has an AA one rosette restaurant which is a must during your stay. The menus created by our Head Chef Simon Pollendine are seasonal using local produce wherever possible. A selection of menus will be available to offer to a wide range of guests that we look forward to welcoming at The Exeter Arms.

A pizza menu has been created for casual dining and ideal for families. Our Home Comforts menu offers some of Britain’s finest traditional dishes and Simon’s signature dishes offers a slightly more fine dining approach and is ideal for a special occasion with friends or family.

Michael’s seven year old son, Sidney, has had input into the children’s menu and has put some of his favorite dishes on the menu. He hopes that our younger guests will enjoy them as much as he does!

The Front restaurant has a wide range of tables ideal for couples or larger parties and is provides a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Many of the original beams and beautiful stone work have been exposed to bring the building back to its former glory and for you to enjoy the craftsmanship of many a year gone by.
