Likes:
The room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Dislikes:
Village is a bit quite there are no shops. We weren't aware that meals stopped at 4pm and there is nowhere else to eat. However the staff made some sandwiches specially for us which was excellent.

I love The White Hart, however for the price I was disappointed that the room was a little 'tired'. 3 or 4 things needed fixing, which I did report to the staff. I would definitely return as its a lovely pub with good food. The pillows were also really poor quality or just very old! Read less

Pleasant homely people and organised.
Dislikes:
No shops nearby. Quite a drive to Peterborough where we did some shopping as Stamford had major traffic jams.

The White Hart has been an inn since the 17th century and continues to offer hospitality to locals and travellers alike. The White Hart is suitably located for businessmen travelling into Peterborough or Stamford and for local tourist attractions including Burghley House and Peterborough Cathedral.

The White Hart has six individually styled bedrooms each with their own character. Four bedrooms are in the main building with two twin bedded rooms with disabled access in the converted ‘Cart Hovel’ located across the courtyard.

All bedrooms are en-suite and have a flat screen television, complimentary WIFI access, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. All rooms have working space for business guests and there is ample parking in the car park to the side of the pub
The Restaurant at The White Hart

The menus created by our Head Chef Dorran Leigh are seasonal using local produce wherever possible. A selection of menus are available for all guests visiting The White Hart including an à la carte menu, bar snack menu, children’s menu and Sunday lunch.

Choose from five areas where you can dine. The bar has a wide range of tables available for couples or larger parties and provides a relaxed, pub atmosphere. Many of the original beams and much of the stone work are exposed giving a traditional feel.
The Bar

The Bar at The White Hart is in the most traditional part of the pub and is popular with both locals and visitors, it is known as a true ‘watering hole’. The bar has many local artefacts for guests interested in the local area and a log burner providing a cosy warmth during the winter months.

We offer four real ales, Adnams., Aspall’s Cyder, Carlsberg, Guinness and San Miguel..
