The accommodation was adequate and conveniently situated near the Floral Hall but lacking any charm or character. It may have been in great hotel in former days but is now in need of refitting and redecoration. Bar/lounge area not very inviting and the whole place seems to be run on a shoe string with very few staff. My colleague had breakfast on her first day before I arrived and advised me it was poor so we paid for breakfast at the Ramada for the other 3 days. Read less
Likes:
It was close to the Floral Hall but so is the Ramada and I really wished I hadn't tried to save a bit of money and had just gone to Ramada.
Dislikes:
Dated hotel run on a shoe string. Public spaces not inviting. Room adequately clean but very small bathroom with cracked bathroom tiles, needs upgrading.

Was very shabby from the outside. Inside was not much better.
The room was overpriced you could not even see outside because of
condensation behind the secondary glass. Breakfast should have been
included for the price. Would definitely not go again. We have seen hotels
priced less than that with far superior rooms. Read less
