Friendly staff. Position on the sea front
Dislikes:
Decor was woodchip paper & the en suite was no bigger than an under stairs cupboard, it had a tiny cloakroom wash hand basin which was impossible to use due to there being 2 shelves directly above it.

"Uncomfortable nights sleep"
Over nights stay after visiting the theatre so not having to drive home whilst tired , but still ended up having to do this after trying to sleep in what was booked as a double bed but was infact two… Read more

Just a short walk from the famous Lord Street with its many shops and quintessential tea rooms, the Alexandra and Victoria is the ideal place to stay. It is also minutes away from the newly refurbished train station which has direct links to both Manchester and Liverpool. Directly opposite Southport’s pier, which is the second longest in Britain, the hotel is also only a short drive from the largest concentration of championship golf courses in England; the region is known as England’s Golf Coast.
