"Great Friendly Service"
In Norfolk for a long weekend and found The Willow House on line and it looked good value. A warm welcome awaited us. We had a very pleasant room and although near the cross roads we heard very little noise from the traffic which was great as I'm a very light sleeper. Food all freshly cooked to order may have had to wait if they were busy but no problem with that. Read less

Loved the pub very olde worlde and my husband would really recommend the beers that they serve. The food in the bar was of a very good standard as was breakfast with plenty of choice.
Dislikes:
Not a dislike but shame the bar and restaurant were shut from 6pm on a Sunday and they stop serving food at 2.30 Sunday lunch time but Chinese and fish & chips in walking distance.

"Pleasant, convenient for the purpose of my visit"
On arrival the area where one checks in was very busy. As a single found it a bit daunting but eventually when the young lady sorted me it was fine. I have stayed with you before and I have to say again being on my own I find it a relief to get to my room as it can be a little bit eerie on the way round not when I was first shown round but thereafter, especially on Sunday night. Perhaps better lighting would help. Read less

The Willow House offers a very traditional and cosy atmosphere, where you are surrounded by old wooden beams and large fireplaces.

The Inn and restaurant were cottages that have now been converted into a period picture post card hostelry, with en-suit chalet style rooms available, which are tourist board accredited.

Whatever your interests, whatever the weather, we are sure there is something for you amongst these top eleven attractions. Step back in time with a visit to a windmill or museum, or further back to the dinosaur age. Learn some interesting facts about wildlife conservation and exotic creatures. Watch expert craftsmen revive traditional skills. Unwind on the beautiful Norfolk Broads, stroll through peaceful gardens or relax on an interesting railway journey.

The Chalet style rooms are purpose built, spacious and comfortable. All rooms are either doubles or twins. Some family rooms are available, prices include a delicious breakfast.

We offer two atmospheric wooden beamed bars. Both of our bars are non smoking, one is also used as a reception bar for the restaurant. The other is "The Tavern Bar" which is slightly more spacious.

PLEASE NOTE:
If your visit encompasses a Sunday, please be aware that we stop serving food at around 2.45~3pm on Sunday lunchtimes, and our bars close at around 6 pm. We do this all year round except Bank holidays, so this does mean that you will need to make alternative arrangements if you wish to take an evening meal.

There is a Chinese and an Indian restaurants 4/5 mins walk from us.

This will not affect your coming and going from the rooms as these are independent to the main building.
