We were right in the centre of Hawes, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The pub sold White Zinfandel wine, my favourite. The breakfast was delicious as was our evening meal.

We only stayed 2 nights, we will definitely stay longer next time!

We offer a relaxed service that will make you feel like part of the family while you unwind and explore the local area. Don’t worry, we understand that dogs are part of many families too.

We are supported by a small team of staff, drawn from the local community, who share our commitment to providing you with an experience to remember for all the right reasons.

Our comfortable accommodation is designed to suit everyone’s needs.

While you’re with us it’s worth taking the time to enjoy one of our Cask Marque ales or a meal, freshly prepared from the best ingredients Wensleydale has to offer.

It also has a good range of facilities for visitors including antique and gift shops, pubs and cafes - and the chance to buy the local Wensleydale cheese, .Hawes has its weekly market (as it has since 1699) on a Tuesday - this is the liveliest and most interesting time to visit the town. Within walking distance you can visit the Dales Countryside Museum, Gayle Mill and Hadraw Scar waterfall.

Situated on the A684 in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, our friendly inn makes a superb base for exploring the scenery all around the The Board Inn, which is quite simply fantastic, stunning and very varied.
